How could you understand the show if you haven't seen the it from the beginning? To be honest, I used to mock my friends about the show until they finally made me watch season 1 on DVD, and I was hooked. The later seasons lacked the repoire among the Scoobies, and became a soap opera.

I agree about the high school...did anyone go to a high school that resembled Sunnydale High? I don't think so. And where does Buffy get all the money to buy the leather clothes and accessories? Nonetheless, depsite the fact that high isn't full of only gorgeous people, witty dialogue, rooms with paint and working windows, it was a clever premise, and still is.

Ah, the real glory years...
