I'm not sure what u meant by the Wesley thing, I really like Wesley--I think he got jipped last season--wesley kicks ass.

Don't get me wrong, I respect Buffy --and no one can make me tear up like she can---ex. killing Angel--OH MY (insert diety of choice)!!!!! Damn that hurt
ex. S3 telling Willow she feels like she can't breathe---Prom,--the smoky last glance at one another.
Buffy is bad ass, no denying it. I think I sometimes misplace my dislike of SMG on Buffy. Though I do think the character is much harder than she once was--and yes she deserves some happiness.
Xander--I LOVE Xander, he gets pushed around and made fun of --but he's always there, he's true, has a big heart and loves his friends.
Willow--I have always loved Willow--even though she deserved to grow out of her nerdiness--I loved her most in S1-3, so funny and unsure of herself.
Giles--S6--I'd like to test that theory--Giles in his jeans--very nice. They are definetly screwing him this season--what's up with that??? I always loved the fatherly love he had for Buffy and somewhat for Willow and Xander and now they're f@*%ing it up.
Spike--I like Spike--he is cool, but I like him better chipped and unsouled.
I think Joss gave up on Buffy several years ago and left this incredible concept in the hands of a group of writers who, while they are talented, lost sense of what the show was about. Thanks for your perspective Jael--very interesting.
