They think I called them last night, but I did not. I was inside when the roof caught fire, until I realized how hot it was, and ran out into the chilly winter air. I had thought it was only fall, but it was too cold. It's so dark outside now. Even the festival seems to be hot, and I'm having such a hard time finding somewhere warm, there isn't enough light, so there's a haze over everything now. And things seem to be muted in the darkness. You tell me.
