I attended my first all breeds champ show yesterday. Congratulations to Diamondridge Donatello for winning best of breed, I'm not sure of the other results as I didn't mark the catalogue and I got distracted with all the chatting. It was great to catch up with Jack Selby and Dorothy Grayson-Wood. This show had over 80 RR's entered.
I was fascinated by the whole show scene over here and at the show, exhibitors could not drive out the gate with their dogs unless they had tickets. You had to show that the dogs you were leaving with were yours, a good way to stop those that would think of stealing someone else's dog, apparently it has happened in the past over here.
The Ridgie people that I have met so far have been very welcoming and I will be attending my next show beginning of November.
