 21/05/2005 only a few days off her 14th birthday.

We bid farewell to 'Chilli'

Multi BIS Aust Grand Ch Bearstar Chilean Willow R.O.M

Not to diminish in any way her contribution to this breed by her many titled progeny including 2 Grand Champions and BIS winners in their own right .

A multi Best In Show at Championship level and also a few Runner Up To Best In Show wins as well .I could go on about her winning in the rings but she was more than that.

She was my girl and to put it simply she was my standard ,the type of Rhodesian Ridgeback I aspired to breed ,her type ,outstanding movement and the most endearing and gentle nature won her many a heart ,but non more than mine .

Its was the greatest gift I could ever receive to be given the privilege to have Chilli live with me and for her to be the very backbone of Umkimzulu .

She was just exceptional in so many ways and when they made Ms Willow they broke the mould and when she left me it broke my heart .

Umkimzulu will never be the same again.

I would like to thank the many people who have phoned sent e mails and flowers over the passing 'Chilli' .
Its very heart warming to know that she was thought of with so much love .
