 It is with incredible sadness that on behalf of Leanne Lewis and her family,
that I post the sad passing of Axle today. After an emergency rush to the
local vet,he passed away on the operating table with a twisted spleen. Sadly
the dog world has lost an other great ambassador of the breed, and a
companion of great character and spirit. He was a ridgeback full of life and
a great showman both in and out of the ring. His temperament was without
question, and he has passed this on to his progeny. I know that he will be
missed by all that knew him and enjoyed his company. Having lost three of my
own within the last year, words alone cannot explain how sad I feel for
Leanne's family at this moment.
Surely missed but never forgotten
