Firstly, thanks to everyone who has emailed me privately about Jelani's Grand Champion title. This is the icing on the cake after Jelani's fabulous show year last year. And special thanks to hubby Tony for handling Jelani for me for the last few months - they make a great team together and well it's been great for me with studying etc to let Tony take Jelani out and about. Plus I've been able to spend a lot of quality time with Kito which has been lovely.

A very big thank goes to Dale for trusting that I'd show Jelani in the first place since she didn't know me from a bar of soap when I first phoned her and wanted a puppy.

Over the years as everyone knows, I've been besotted with Jelani's dad Ko and still am to this very day and am so proud that Jelani is from Ko. Needless to say, Dusty Buster has also grown on me so much that I adore her and that explains why I now have two Dusty children and would take another one in a flash; mind you I think I'll have to
wait for a Meisha daughter/son to carry on at KoDust.

Jelani has done his breeders (Dale and Mick) proud and has done so well along the way. I think the boy needs a nice relaxing break from here on end - especially through summer.

Jelani has achieved everything I ever wanted from him. I adore him totally, he's awesome, a brilliant companion, a brilliant guard dog and continuously reminds me how wonderful he thinks he is. Let's just say life with Jelani is never boring <grin>. And when the heat and flies aren't getting to him, he loves being shown. It's nice to have a dog that likes being in the show ring and can be handled by a few different people. It's nice to have sat back and seen 'my boy'Jelani being handled at times by Dale Blinco, Cyndy Burton, Gary Austen, Mark and Ian Smith and of course Tony who has shown him at almost every show over the last couple of months.

Special thanks go to Cyndy and Dale for being the ever present rocks in my life with regards to dog showing and always managing to steer me in the right direction <grin>.

Someone reminded me yesterday about a comment I made when Jelani was a babe. I was at a show and apparently I was talking to another exhibitor about Ko and apparently I made a comment and said "I hope one day that Jelani will be like his dad Ko and do him proud and get his grand championship". I don't remember saying this, but I definately can imagine that I would have.

And for me, who loves Dusty as much as Ko now, thank you so much for producing 'my baby'.
