She is not bothered by the presence of Amadeaus on her shoulder. Rather, she enjoys him there. She smiles at the little bird, and pauses to look into his eyes. She knew that there was much more to him than just a shape-shifting animal; she just couldn't tell what. It crossed her mind that he would probably be able to tell what -she- was, but stragely, it didn't bother her much.

She rounds a corner and sees a painted sign hanging from a wall. "The Green Sheep," she reads aloud.

Inside, it is pleasantly warm, with a fire smouldering in the fireplace and fresh rushes on the floor around the small but neat tables and benches. A few locals are eating in one corner. She looks around, wondering where the innkeeper could be.
