Telú, making sure her sister has everything that she needs, heads off to the stables, Elerrina in tow. Somewhere along the walk, she learns that she needs to get a horse for Tristan, too, but we're not sure when/how.
The stables are more or less open. There are no doors on the individual stalls, but the horses seem to stay in their own respective places. Everything from great War Horses to gentle little ponies for elflings are in the barn. As Telútari and Elerrina walk through the stables, Telútari stops. She is at the stall of a mare, mostly white with a grey muzzle and calves.
She whistles for the mare to come forward. It's not an overly-large horse, but not too small, either. Telú reckons she'll be okay with Elerrina. Of course, she has no saddle, nor are there any present in the stables. Elves ride bare back. "I think this one will do nicely for you, Elerrina," she says, nodding tot he mare. "Her name is Lyleisa."
Leaving her sister to get aquainted with Lyleisa, Telútari goes off to find a horse for Tristan. She knows what she needs. A horse docile enough to bear any rider, yet strong and fast enough to get away in case it is threatened (by anything, but most particularily its rider). However hospitable her father may choose to be, Telú does not want to see one of their horses turned into lunch. She decides on a larger bay stallion. Only slightly larger than her Belendir, its sinewy muscles are visible under its glossy brown-and-black coat. It has a snipe of white on its muzzle, and a star on its forhead. "Dhrunríl," she reads its name, and beckons it forward.
She returns to Elerrina, Dhrunríl following her. She starts to head out of the stables with Elerrina and the two horses when a thought strikes her.
"Elerrina, you do know how to ride...right?"
