Miryam turns sharply to the side, the axe whizzing by her and tearing her tunic and grazing her skin. She swoops under the swung axe, leaping back up to her feet. She throws a quick glance at Amadeus, who exits the building, headed for the stables. She can't keep fighting with just a dagger. She nimbly retrives the discarded axe, swinging the handle stiffly at the base of Beorn's neck.

When she sees her horse outside the tavern, she quickly dashes out, hoping Beorn will follow her. Her hands go immediately to where Rengar's large, broad sword is kept and she yanks it out. It is, still, perhaps a little too heavy for her, but she can weild it better than the light touch of her mother's rapier. "Come on," she calls, "I'm not done playing!"

Rose gapes at Tarkin's story, letting out a sound akin to a whimper. "But—but no! You're not going to settle for that, are you?" she implores, horror-stricken. But then, she thinks to herself, if he stuck around for a bit, maybe one of us—maybe I could win that kind of devotion from him! If he can't be with her...

Then she adds, more gently, "I'm so sorry."

Saeven glances over her shoulder to where the brawl is breaking out in the inn. Oh, how bloody wonderful. "Humans," she mutters under her breath. Then, turning back to Deirdre, she asks, "Deirdre, will you let me tell you about what we are? Just let me explain? I won't hurt you, I promise. But I don't think," she glances back at the fighting pair, "we'll be able to talk just right now, right here."
