As you enter a clearing, you see it is large enough for a herd of about 8-10 horses. There are thick trees rimming the claring, and plenty of tall grass. Preditors are a constant threat, though there are many birds around to give warning. There is a sense of peace and safety, for the birds and ohter animals are constant companions and serve as lookouts. The creek is wide, but shallow, slow moving, and cool. Summers are hot and dry, Winters are cold and rainy, and Spring and Autumn are wet and warm.
