Subject: the biggest mistake ever

Just a note before you discover the biggest mistake ever,

we'd like you to quickly ponder one other mistake, equally as sorrowful.

The most honorable

- William Tyndale -

was probably the one man besides the Apostle Paul,

who single handedly did more to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ than any other person in history, and he did this by translating the Greek Scriptures into common English.

Now see if you can guess what his reward was ?

Yes sir, the catholic denomination "burned" him at the stake.

And with all respect and condolences towards Mr. Tyndale,

we believe that the definition of tragedy also includes;

Definition : TRAGEDY (traj'e de) noun.

1. When a person refuses to accept True Doctrine because he might lose financial income that he's receiving from his congregation.

or,

2. He refuses to accept True Doctrine because his friends or associates will not accept the Truth.

In

1486 A.D.

Johannes Pruss of Strasbourg, France,

a member of the

catholic Denomination

placed an

UN - authorized

" New Testament " Title Page

in between the books of Malachi and Matthew.

Then for the next

520 years

this terrible mistake has been hammering in opposition to Truth. And it has been favoring the advancement of

Denominational Doctrines.

You need to understand the incredible hit that this historic event has wrought upon Christianity.

This enormous ERROR has wrongfully caused millions of people to believe that God's NEW Testament begins in

Matthew 1:1

and that the OLD Covenant ended at

Malachi 4:6

You may ask, . . . "What difference does that make ?"

Well the answer is, . . . "An absolutely ENORMOUS difference."

FALSE CATHOLIC DOCTRINES

FALSE DOCTRINE
Date

The most deceptive of the False catholic Doctrines is the Doctrine of Original Sin and Infant Baptism. Invented to soothe the minds of parents whose children died before becoming Christians.
Truth: The Bible declares that all people become sinners the moment they "choose" to sin against God. And that a person has to be old enough to know God's Covenant in order to pledge a good conscience toward Him and be Baptized INTO Christ.
200 A.D.

Prayers for the dead and the Sign of the Cross.
310 A.D.

Wax Candles as part of the church.
320 A.D.

Near worship of angels and dead saints.
375 A.D.

The Mass as a daily celebration.
394 A.D.

The Worship of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and the use of the term, "Mother of God", as applied to her, originated in the Council of Ephesus. 431 A.D.

Priests began to dress differently from the laity.
Truth: God declares that ALL Christians are priests.
500 A.D.

The Doctrine of Purgatory (a place before Heaven where dead people could rid themselves of sins they had committed) was first established by Gregory the Great 593 A.D.

The Latin language was made the language of prayer and worship in churches. Imposed by Pope Gregory I.
Truth: God's Word forbids praying and teaching in an unknown language. (ICorinthians 14:9).
600 A.D.

Prayers directed to Mary, or to dead saints.
Truth: The Bible teaches that Jesus is our only mediator.
600 A.D.

The Papacy is of pagan origin. The title of pope or universal bishop was first given to the bishop of Rome by the wicked emperor Phocas.

This he did to spite Bishop Ciriacus of Constantinople, who had justly excommunicated him for his having caused the assassination of his predecessor emperor Mauritius. Gregory 1, the bishop of Rome, refused the title but his successor, Boniface III, first assumed the title "pope."

Truth: Jesus did NOT appoint Peter to the head of the apostles and Jesus condemns any such notion. Jesus is the HEAD of the church. Colossians 1:18 610 A.D.

The kissing of the Pope's feet. Kissing the feet of emperors was a pagan custom.
Truth: The Word of God forbids such practices. (Acts 10:25; Rev. 19:10; 22:9).
709 A.D.

The Temporal power of the Popes. When Pepin, the usurper of the throne of France, descended into Italy, called by Pope Stephen II, to war against the Italian Lombards, he defeated them and gave the city of Rome and surrounding territory to the pope.
Truth: Jesus expressly forbade such a thing, and He himself refused worldly kingship. (Read Matt. 4:8-9; 20:25-26; John 18:38).
750 A.D.

Worship of the cross, images and relics. This was authorized by order of Dowager Empress Irene of Constantinople, who first caused to pluck the eyes of her own son, Constantine VI, and then called a church council at the request of Hadrian I, pope of Rome at that time.
Truth: Such practice is called simply IDOLATRY in the Bible, and is severely condemned. (Ex. 20:4; 3:17; Deut. 27:15; Psalm 115).
788 A.D.

Holy Water, mixed with a pinch of salt and blessed by the priest. 850 A.D.

The baptism of bells was instituted by Pope John XIV 965 A.D.

Canonization of dead saints, first by Pope John XV.
Truth: The Bible declares that every Christian is a saint. ICorinthians 14:33.
995 A.D.

Fasting on Fridays and during Lent. Imposed by popes said to be interested in the commerce of fish.
Truth: This doctrine is totally against the plain teaching of the Bible. Matthew 15:10 ICorinthians 10:25 ITimothy 4:1.
998 A.D.

Celibacy of priests decreed by Pope Hildebrand, Boniface VII.
Truth: Jesus imposed no such rule, nor did any of the apostles. On the contrary, St. Peter was a married man, and St. Paul says that Elders are to have a wife and children. ITimothy 3:2,5, and 12 Matt. 8:14
1079 A.D.

The Rosary, or prayer beads was introduced by Peter the Hermit, in the year 1090. Copied from Hindus and Mohammedans.
Truth: The counting of prayers is a pagan practice and is expressly condemned by Christ. Matthew 6:5
1090 A.D.

The Inquisition of heretics instituted by the Council of Verona.
Truth: Jesus never taught the use of force to spread His truth.
1184 A.D.

The sale of Indulgences, commonly regarded as a purchase of forgiveness and a permit to indulge in sin.
Truth: Christianity condemns such a traffic and it was the protest against this traffic that brought on the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century.
1190 A.D.

Transubstantiation was decreed by Pope Innocent III. By this doctrine the priest pretends to perform a daily miracle by changing a wafer into the body of Christ, and then he pretends to eat Him alive in the presence of his people during Mass.
Truth: The Bible condemns such absurdities; for the Lord's Supper is simply a memorial of the sacrifice of Christ. Luke 22:19 John 6:35 ICorinthians 11:26
1215 A.D.

Confession of sin to the priest at least once a year was instituted by Pope Innocent III in the Lateran Council.
Truth: The Bible commands us to confess our sins direct to God. Luke 7:48 15:21 IJohn 1:8
1215 A.D.

The Adoration of the wafer (unleavened bread) was decreed by Pope Honorius. 1220 A.D.

The Bible forbidden to laymen and placed in the Index of forbidden books by the Council of Valencia.
Truth: Jesus commanded that the Scriptures should be read by all. John 5:39 ITimothy 3:15
1229 A.D.

The Scapular was invented by Simon Stock, and English monk. It is a piece of brown cloth, with the picture of the Virgin and supposed to contain supernatural virtue to protect from all dangers those who wear it on naked skin. 1287 A.D.

Forbidding the cup to the laity, by instituting the communion of one kind in the Council of Constance.
Truth: The Bible commands all Christians to celebrate the Lord's Supper with unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine. Matthew 26:27 ICorinthians 11:26
1414 A.D.

Purgatory was proclaimed as a doctrine of faith by Council of Florence.
Truth: There is not one word in the Bible that would teach the purgatory of priests. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sins. IJohn 1:7 2:1 John 5:24 Rom. 8:1
1439 A.D.

The doctrine of 7 Sacraments.
Truth: No such thing as sacraments in the Bible.
1439 A.D.

The Ave Maria. It was completed 50 years afterward and finally approved by Pope Sixtus V, at the end of the 16th century. 1508 A.D.

Tradition. The Council of Trent declares it to be of equal authority with the Scriptures. Tradition includes fallible human teachings.
Truth: Jesus condemns holding man made teachings over the Word of God.
1545 A.D.

The apocryphal books were added to the Bible also by the Council of Trent. These books were not recognized as canonical by the Jewish Church. Rev. 22:8 1546 A.D.

The Creed of Pope Pius IV was imposed as the official creed 1560 years after Christ and the apostles. True Christians retain the Holy Scriptures as their creed. Hence their creed is 1500 years older than the creed of Roman Catholics. Gal. 1:8 1560 A.D.

The Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary was proclaimed by Pope Pius IX.
Truth: The Bible states that all men, with the sole exception of Christ, are sinners. Mary herself had need of a Savior. Romans 3:23 5:12 Luke 1:30,46,47

Condemning the Public Schools by pope Pius XI, 1930 A.D.

Mary is "the Mother of God". Reaffirmed by pope Pius XI.

1931 A.D.

The Assumption of the Virgin Mary proclaimed by Pope Pius XII, 1950 A.D.

CONCLUSION

The catholic church says it never changes, yet it continues to do so as it also continues to invent new doctrines which are contrary to God's Word.

Heresies are doctrines and practices that are contrary to the Bible. They are also called "human traditions" or "doctrines of men". Both Peter and Paul prophesied and warned that in the later times "false teachers" would rise within the church and bring in "damnable heresies" and "doctrines of devils". (2Peter 2:1 and ITimothy 3:2)

1Timothy 1:3

As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain men not to teach False Doctrines any longer.

Galatians 1:8

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned.
