thanks, i do agree that respect is very important. the very first time that i did this was many years ago when i was a teenager. some friends and i went to a graveyard and tried it as just something neat to do. well, we got a woman saying "teen people leave" now, many years later im doimg it in a very serious manner and with great respect. and so far i have knocking, moaning, and a womans voice, but this time saying "shouldnt stop talking to me" so its a very positive thing this time. its something i plan on doing very much of and feel i should learn as much about it as i can so i can go about it in the right way.

Mike,
We have a section on EVP on this site. We've gotten evp in cemeteries, hospital rooms, residences, schools, etc. From odd knocking noises to footsteps to voices. Sometimes in a different language and in one case, a word that appears to have been spoken backwards.

thank you very much, ill check that out. it is a fantastic subject to get into. i know i will be doing quite a bit of it so i will keep you posted on how it goes.

I've never tried this but would like to. Any advise? What type of recorder, tapes, etc...?

Hi,
As I said, I had taught a begining class on how to start and what to look for on doing evp's. If the web master approves, I can give you my channel name and you can down load the class.
We are a teaching channel on psychic growth.
