A lot of skeptics and even some researchers are now
assuming all mists caught on film are nothing
but a natural mist. Why then are these mists showing up in only 1 picture out of several rolls taken? Why so even when
current weather conditions (when photos were taken) are clear? Why are detection devises picking up unexplainable
activity while photo taking? Why do I have video tape of a mist that suddenly appears
and disappears, leaving evp when the mist appeared that sounds like "Get Out". Something is going on, mists aren't
ONLY natural. They are supernatural at times too.

I have seen a mist form turn into a more solid form in front of my
eyes. Are you telling us I saw just a logical mist in my
home? Digital cameras? There's a lot more controversy with them!" ---Last remark being in response to CD Leslie's
comment from above. Marva

You must understand chemistry, physics, and even a bit of
biology to understand fully, what this so-called ghost mist
actually is.

1. Many types of gases are invisible to the naked eye and cannot be readily detected.
this would explain the fact that
we can't see the mist and why its not on any weather report. it is usually a small output of inert gas (ie methane, CO,
and others)

2. Photographs tend to show these gases through the chemical reactions of the film
and exposure to the atmosphere.
As the basis of photography is a chemical reaction between the plate and film, the gases are picked up by accident.

3. How can this by avoided? Using digital cameras which do not involve a chemical
process usually means a different
picture is taken. Mist does not usually show up as the light reflecting of the gas must also pass into the lens of the
camera.

Contact me if you would like to discuss this further. CD Leslie

Regarding CD Leslie's comment:
This is a variation of the 'swamp gas' explanation which some people use
to explain
everything from ghosts to UFO's. While I am not naive enough to think that none of these
photos have natural explanations... what about the ones which turn up INSIDE of
locations? And if this 'gas' is so common, why doesn't it turn up in everyone's photos
all the time? Why just on one evening and not the next?

Unfortunately, this explanation is not as all-encompassing as saying "that every photo
shows a ghost" is. I also try to limit my own explanations as saying that the 'mists' are
actually some sort of unexplained energy anyway, mostly because there is no way that we
can say for sure that it's a 'ghost'. Troy Taylor

I don't agree with Cd Leslie. Let me tell you about my mist. My mist didn't appear in photographs, it didn't come from reflections. When I was younger it liked to tuck me in at night, until one night I awoke and looked next to my bed to see this static figure, I rubbed my eyes
and looked again. It was still standing there, or should I say floating.
I was not alarmed because I thought this "thing" was my mother. I
asked, "Mom, what are you doing?" and the "thing" turned to me, put
it's finger to it's white lips and said, "Shhhhh" and disappeared. I
know I wasn't dreaming, or half awake because I then screamed
and awoke my older brother on the other side of the room and my
parents. We later found after moving out, a woman, a mother to be
exact, hung herself in the hallway between my room and my parents
room. I guess she was checking up on her kids, and tucking them
in, but only it was me, not her kids. So, lets hear your "physics,
chemistry and a little bit of Biology" theory on that one. As for those
theories, my mother is a Medical Technologist, she knows
everything about Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Hemotology, the list
goes on. But my mother doesn't point the finger at these things, she
knows ghosts/spirits are real, but she'd rather leave them alone. Me
on the other hand like to seek them out. E-mail

How do you explain ALL of these mists being natural when they
don't show up at non-haunted locations? Why do they show up at a known haunted location and not outside the local 7-11
store? Why are electro-magnetic readings & major temperature drops being detected at these haunted locations and not the
local 7-11? If they are naturally caused, why aren't they visible in more than 1 or two frames? Remember, all these pictures are
being taken in clear weather conditions of course. But again, even if we can't see the weather-caused mists visually, why don't
they show up in all the frames or at least the majority of them? I mean if someone took a roll of film of me standing in ONE
SPOT I would assume I'd be in every frame! This should be the same of a weather created mist--it would be basically
stationary. Spirits don't just hover in one spot for a long period of time but mists usually do.
