Want to hear some powerful words? Read the Holy Bible. It is there that you will find references to life after death and the spirit world being both loving or harmful. My belief in the spirit world (ghosts) has made me a better person: a person who takes responsibility for my actions, does unto others as would want done unto me, and a person who goes to church and practices the lessons everyday. Yeah, that's the work of the devil.
