Subject: Witness Sightings

I read an article recently regarding that seeing ghosts is a sign
of neurological disease. Apparently, per the article, most ghost sightings occur before a person falls asleep at night. The brain
'slips gears', adjusts when falling asleep. This transaction can cause sightings of various forms that aren't really there. This
disease is called 'Hypnagogia' and a new wonder drug to help it has been released on the market. How about all of the day

Dr. Moody conducted an interesting experiment in 1994 where he
would gaze in a mirror and would see apparitions of deceased persons. He created a 'Psychomanteum' which was a room, all
black with no light seeping in. The only light was a 15 watt lightbulb behind his chair. He positioned the mirror in front of him but in a way that he could not see his own reflection. After he succeeded in his sightings he got several volunteers to try the same. 50% of these volunteers claimed to have made contact with the dead.

In response to RRW's comment above: In ancient times the
Greeks, and others, practiced gazing in pools of blood and in calm waters. This is a similar idea.

Exposure to low frequency sounds can cause many different
types of effects such as anxiety, coldness and hallucinations. It can even make you feel like you are being watched! This infrasound can simply be caused by wind moving through a small crack in a house, for example.

This whole debate could be summed up with this example:suppose your T.V. got dropped on the floor, and now it picks two new channels that it couldn't get before you dropped it, would you throw it away because it doesn't work like everybody else's? One brain can pick-up the other-world activity,does this difference make the experience less real or less valid? Viva le difference!If we were all the same our species would have perished long ago.
