he was doing a last run over the apartment, picking up things Elise had left lying around while spending her last few days here. Girls could accumulate a lot of things in only a few days he was learning. That left him with an armful of things that he was somehow going to have to sneak over to Elise without getting caught by anyone in the process. Hardly an easy task

Plus, having Elise's things here when they got back had been a bit of a give away, though he'd manage to get rid of most of it before Leah saw it.
