Leah couldn;t help but laugh as Alex hurled himself at the opening door, to meet his fathers legs full force. She had imagined she would be bored out of her mind being home all day long but she wasn't in the least. She and Kenzi hung out a lot of the time and they were always going for lunch and hitting the shops while one of her or luke's parents watched Alex- she usually took Gracie with her since she was happy to tag along- but she occasionally left her with their parents too. Leah didn't mind him going out witht he boys once a week or so- she encouraged it- she knew that while he loved his family he'd never been the type to settle down with a wife and kids- and he needed to get out with his boys and let loose- just like she did- she'd go stir crazy if she was here all the time. "Ty got him all worked up... he wants a ride on the bike." Leah widened her eyes at Luke before shaking her head with a smirk. She;d always been adament that Alex would not be allowed near them- but just like with his daddy there was clearly nothing she could do to deter his love for them- and he was always up on Luke's bike- with luke holding him there and while the bike was stationary of course- making noises like a motercycle and pretending to ride it like his daddy does. He looked the image of Luke too- she had shown him a picture that Riley had given her of Luke at Alex's age and they were practically identical. "He brought me lunch though so I forgave him" Leah had a great relationship with his dad- which was more than could be said for Lukes relationship with her dad.

Luke pretty much just stayed away from his wife's family as best as he could just to avoid any trouble or anything of the like. Eli'd hated him since Leah started climbing out her window and onto the back of his bike and Luke was pretty sure the feelings there hadn't changed in the least over the years. A grin crossed his lips as he narrowed his eyes at his son before scooping him up into his arms and tossing him playfully into the air. He pressed a kiss to Alex's cheek before he headed over to his wife, ducking down to brush her lips with his for just a moment before grinning. "I'm hungry." He was very much still a boy at times.
