Their goals and dreams for their children were so different. He wanted Alex to enjoy his youth fully, like he had. He wanted him to love bikes and love speed and adrenaline, to take chances but still be smart about it. Obviously, they both just wanted their children to grow up healthy and happy but the way that they turned out personality wise was a subject of debate.
