 He throws his head up and half rears right in front of the fence, whites flashing. He walks up, his side to the gate so he could see it. He looks and sniffs at the gate, trying to figure out what it was. Then he goes into a circle and faces the gate. Approaches at a slow canter and lifts. Fore legs curled neatly underneath his chest as his powerful hind legs thrust them swiftly over the gate.
