 Mysterious Mist canters outside the pasture, both horse wild. She jumps the fence, squealing. Bullets to the girl and horse, she ruuns right between them, pulling the longe line from Shade's hand, and almost knocking herself down.

Red Rum follows, bucking more than he was running. Circles the other horse, neighing wildly. FInally he stops, forelock tumbling oer' his eyes. Then he starts to go crazy once again, following his mate
