Subject: visa issues

I am in the US on a student visa and I got a 1 year extension to work in a field related to my area of study (Travel and Tourism). It's called and OPT and with it I also received a social security number. Recently, I passed an interview to become an airline steward. My question is: What type of visa do I now need to apply for, if any at all?
