I guess it's a billing issue. My doc is young and was probably "corrected" by his seniors, in the proper management of patients ... string them along, maximize those billable visits!

His assistant finally called and gave me an appointment for my LP, day after tomorrow. I have a bad cold and may not be able to go, but the big hurdle of getting the order for it has been navigated. That's progress.
