Sorry your fun day was costly, but it sounds like it was nice. Feeling bad sure can take the zing out of great plans. Don't give up Melodie! Maybe by next year you will have a diagnosis, but also you may be on some medication that will allow you to enjoy outings like the RiverFest. Let's not assume things are only going to get worse. Let's just hope no matter what, we will have enough of a diagnosis to receive meds that will allow us to enjoy such activities in the future.

It sounds as if you look forward to this outing annually so don't plan to give this up so fast. Look forward to attending next year and being comfortable doing so. Just yesterday I had a similiar situation. My husband mentioned extending our previous planned activity. I had to remind him there was no way I could endure what he proposed. It required much more walking and I knew I couldn't endure.

I too get more pronounced numbness and tingling when subject to remaining in the same position or holding on to something like you mentioned. It's the pits!

Get rested and don't apologize for complaining. We all understand your frustrations because they are ours too.
