Go get another HMO doctor, then get another neuro referral. I know it will take some time, but in the long run, it will be worth it. It does no one any good when you (the patient) are ignored and dismissed.

I hear there ARE some good doctors, with specifically, MS experience. That's who you want... Believe me, I'm going thru the same thing. Going to change neuros to one that specializes in MS so they RECOGNIZE the symptoms...
