Subject: I finally got an answer

hello everyone

Well, after all this time I finally got a diagnosis! It is not MS...I have Fibromyalgia. I am so relieved that I now know what I am dealing with.

The only confusing thing is that I was dx last June with lupus but the blood tests I just had done a week ago shows a slightly elevated ANA speckled pattern but my brain/spinal MRI was negative for lupus in the nervous system...

The neuro suggested I follow up with my PCP for meds and then if I feel better about going to a rheumatologist when I can get in in Nov. to do that. I told him the name of the Rheumy that I have to go to on my plan and he said she was very good.

Well, that is all my news to date. Thank you all for being so supportive and listening to my whining...
