There are many 'Tipsters' out there looking for easy money, and trust me I know plenty. You should never respond to letters, email, with your details, or cash. If you can't proof them for free for a decent amount of time, forget it. A good way of ensuring a reliable (maybe not profitable) tipster, is to check the racing press. They have to proof all selections & show a profit for at least a month, if they wish to advertise a premium line, or subscription service. So the one's you see advertised each month, you know the service is being checked by that paper, otherwise bin it.
If you want some decent free info, other than mine, just use my links page as I try to keep an eye on all the links. CD SYSTEMS is one of my favourites, run by Pro Steve.
Even when you subscribe to a service, do a dry run for a couple of months before betting.
