Subject: OK LADIES LETS START POSTING WHAT WE LIKED AND WHAT WE DIDNT LIKE ABOUT CITRUS THIS YEAR. MR MICHAEL NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT WE ALL FEEL NEEDS TO BE CHANGED AND WHAT SHOULD STAY THE SAME.

Citrus is a big pageant, mostly in Florida, but some do come from out of state and he is trying to expand. I have talked to him and met him before, and I just wasn't that impressed with him. I have watched my friends daughter compete at LMP pageants and WIN! And she has barely even talked to Michael Galanes. We don't even know the man. She mails in her registration and he doesn't help her one bit. Maybe he would if asked, but my girlfriend is a pro and doesn't need his help. She has no association with MG and her daughter still wins and places.

I have to completely disagree with majority of all the things, I have read on this voyboard. First of all my daughter has been competing in M.G. pageants for years. I do not think his pageants are fixed. She has won & lost. They are very fair. If you do not invest your time into reading the paperwork, & learning exactly what the pageant is looking for to become its royalty. You will most likely will be very unhappy with the out come, even if you have a Beautiful child. His pageants are looking for the TOTAL Package: Looks, Stage Modeling, Personality & Projection on stage, Great Outfits/ Props, and Amazing H&M. This is not a pageant to enter if you are on a budget. All of the paperwork is very informative. If you do your research, you will see Citrus Nationals is one of the Bigger National pageants held in Fl. every year. There are over 250 contestants. They give you your prize $$$ on stage @ crowning, they do not prorate, or make you pick between savings bond or a smaller amount of prize $$$. Like other pageant systems do. Not to mention the blinged out crowns, trophies, etc. Over all Citrus Nationals is a Great pageant system & we will continue to compete in it for many years to come.... I highly recommend trying it, you might catch the Citrus Fever!
