I know we always try to please out clients first but you MUST take time for yourself. It is more difficult while you have a steady stream of clients. I would not call them if you have already told them yes, that may lead them another sitters door. I'd set planned days ahead of time and let your regulars know in advance. You might want to get the assisitance of a trustworthy sitter who you could feel comfortable with and reciprocate visits. I do this with a lady in my town and when I go away or plan a party, as I am friday night, she will be my substitute. If you do not have one I would discuss this with another professional sitter and work something out.
