Yup, there will always be inquires that are cold calls even if they give the impression of seriousness. I only provide references once I am at the Initial visit and that is only after I ask them. I do not want my clients numbers out there for any yo-yo to use.

Most callers who are serious won't bother with all the little things. They set up an initial and get going quickly. Don't let the stragglers bum you out!I have been in this for awhile now and I am darn good on that phone, I control the questioning because as you say I do not accept any old caller. The ones with backyard pets needing one visit here and there and the "can you do an everyother day for my 7 cats"? LOL...forget it!
