In reply to: Lymn 's message, "best way to start charging a holiday fee" on 04:19:24 06/21/00 Wed

I added it into my service policy, and then put a notice in my newsletter....."starting xxx day, there will be a holiday fee of $xxx per holiday day for such and such holidays..... we appreciate your acceptance of this new policy and look forward to spending future holidays with your pets"..... or something to that effect.....this tactfully tells people about the new policy, and subliminally reminds them that when THEY are GONE....for the holidays....YOU are THERE with their pets. Then just have them sign the new service policy.

Good luck!
