Although many states consider an animal "abandoned" if it does not receive care at least once in each 24 hr. period, I would hesitate to turn down a job. I do mention this to my prospective clients with hopes that they will comply with once a day visits.(indoor cats almost always want at least once a day) However some clients have said that they feed stray cats, & often do not see the cats on a regular basis, they just catch glimpes of them as they eat. I would take a job like this to make sure these "wild" cats have a regular food source, even if it means going only once or twice a week.
