A little bit of background...The people you should be blaming are from NJO, not Time, Realist and Bro. NJO changed Streetcorner so that when anyone clicks on that forum, they go right into Talk Politics. This was one way NJO was trying to get rid of you. And like idiots, they forgot to change the description at the bottom of the screen on the opening page of the Streetcorner forum. (The "abandon hope," "all sillyness" etc. description is still there.) If you don't believe me, go to Streetcorner for a moment. Then go back to the main NJO Forums page and click on Talk Politics and you'll see it's the SAME EXACT forum. Time, Bro and Realist didn't invade your Streetcorner. NJO put them there. Anytime they go into the Politics Forum, where they've posted for years, they are also on Streetcorner. And if you STILL don't believe me, try posting a message on Streetcorner. When your post appears on the screen right before it gets put on the forum, the heading says "Forum: New Jersey Online: Politics Forum."

Realist really didn't even know you except through the Back Yard, but Time and Bro have been among your biggest supporters, way back to the Silly Girl and SBO days. I really believe they never wrote any insulting posts to you to start all this off. Those posts were done by some other troll on NJO -- probably Valerie Jordan.

As far as The Back Yard goes, political talk was never off limits. We just expect everyone to be civil and respectful. The board was created to get away from the crap on NJO. We've had some heated discussions there but we are all friends and that is our biggest priority.
