The Outdoor Youth Day at the Corbett WMA this past saturday was again a huge success.THe attendance was well over 1200 people including many children who had never before fired a gun or bow, seen an airboat or swamp buggy or caught a fish. They did all these things and more while enjoying a beautiful day at one of Floridas public WMA's.At the Muzzleloading demonstration, which I ran, we shot over 500 rounds, some of the children were as young as 4 years old and we had parents who had never fired a gun shooting as well! This is a great event and if there are any visitors to this forum who live in the Palm Beach county area and who did not attend or volunteer well you missed a great event and shame on you for not pitching in and doing your part to promote Floridas outdoor legacy.Also the Palm Beach chapter of the NWTF is having thier Banquet on Feb. 16 at the Doubletree Hotel on PGA Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens. Pleas attend if you can and support the NWTF and their local efforts to improve turkey hunting for all of us.
