He smiled lightly as he came through the door - he had actually gone into work late that morning because he wanted to be there for her when Wes got on the school bus - he had expected the tears and crying that had happened as soon as the yellow bus took their baby boy away. Their little boy wasn't so little these days though, he was developing a full attitude that mirrored his fathers. Shaking his head, he came up behind Mia and pressed a kiss to the top of her head before his hand dropped down to her stomache, pushing back her hair with his opposite hand. "You can't have any tears left, Mia, for real.." He was teasing, his lips brushing across her jaw before he smiled at his son.
