Subject: She never expected to hear it back and so when she did it gave her a little shock, but she just smiled warmly and nodded, allowing him to help her up. While they shared affections and there feelings were made pretty clear through those, they rarely voiced it so much... just having him living here for the amount of time that he did was enough, and she knew he cared for her and their children.
