This is my first post here, as I just heard about this forum. Let's try and spread the word, as this is so much more friendly than CayPolitics. It even has cool emoticons to use. As a young professional, I feel it is essential that the discussion of matters of national importance be expanded in every way possible.

Seems as if CAL are more concerned with appearances than actual concrete steps to improve security. The public show of going through luggage, much to the embarrassment of the traveling public is a joke.

Then there are the so called special fares they have offered which are basically a shell game. You see an advertised fare, but when the taxes & fees are added back in, it is barely a deal at all! No wonder the planes are flying half full at best. Flights are being cancelled regularly due to lack of bookings.

The inmates are running the asylum, just like the rest of our clueless government. Sad times for us in the Cayman Islands.

NB

>Cayman Airlines has still not reinforced it's cockpit
>doors nor are they x-raying all checked baggage. This
>small airline with only a few planes should have been
>able to these things by now. Instead they are doing
>things to make travelers think they are safer while
>ignoring the protective procedures that would really
>protect them.
