You can't just expect someone to bring it to you” Scott is right

This goes for the OBX and Wilmington NC. If you want something to happen there you need to do it. You can’t expect an academy owner or an instructor to open something when they already have their own academy.

I had no idea that I would be helping out in a club in Jacksonville NC. I had two students that joined my academy in Greenville NC trained Friday and Saturday every weekend (that is a 1 ½ drive) one of them already had a blue belt under Renzo but hadn’t been rolling in 2 to 3 years. They were training with each other during the week in the grass. Talk about wanted to train bad, well to make along story short, we (myself and them) went to a local Martial Arts Academy and worked it out so we could start a class/club with them. Now the guys are up to 15 in Jacksonville, and doing real well.

So just do it. Don’t wait for someone else.

James is right. Evolution is a great BJJ gym in Wrightsville beach and Wright's Extreme Martial Arts in Jacsonville has the most successful school in ONslow county.
