Huge show coming to the RBC center in October (11th I think) how many of you guys plan to attend? I have heard some estimates as to attendance, and to say the least it will be the biggest MMA show EVER in NC.

I'm going from memory here so I'm liable to make an error or three:

Chris Sutton def Dwight Hyman - Rd1 - Strikes
Tomar Washington def Dustin Bowden - Rd1 - Strikes
Grant Harris def Scott Kingston - Split decision
Joe Carroll def Pete Martin - Tapout (RNC)
Champ Tramaine def Josh Leach - decision

Jesse Riggleman def Valentin Bueno - Tapout (RNC)
Steve Banks def Jeremy Stevens - Strikes
Byron Bloodworth def Wil Haggerty - Split Decision
Roger Carroll def Marcus Thomas - Tapout (Guilotine)
??? def Aitor Canup - Strikes
Brandon Garner def Seth Marquez - Tapout (Anaconda choke?)

I know I left out a few fights.

The event was great! Very well done and professional. A very nice turnout of fans. A fight broke out in the stands and was quickly stopped by the RBC Staff. There were two excellent bands - one at the tailgate party and one in the arena. Both bands rocked.

The ring announcer who is a regular around these parts is a freaking riot. The ring girls was very nice looking (well, that's what I heard - I'm married so I was not actually looking at them).

CFP put on an AWESOME show. Be sure to catch their next event if you missed this one.

Champ Tramaine won by arm triangle. I think the rest was dead on.

Also the guy from camp lejeune won forget their names and there was another pro-fight matt tiara won by decision I believe.

Mike Brown was the guy from Lejeune, he won via rear naked choke, and Tiara won via Heel hook, not decision.

Well, hopefully soon, so I can watch the spawn cheer insanely anytime a Team R.O.C. guy happens to lose. He seemed to enjoy that......alot.

Hi guys,

I live in Fuquay-Varina, NC and I have a MMA website in which I try to cover all of the MMA shows that take place in NC. Feel free to shoot me an email or press release if you know of any events happening in NC so I can add them to the site. I also just did an interview with UFC veteran Din Thomas(audio) so feel free to check that out as well.
