IFL is good talent, alot of guys who have been in the UFC and other guys who were on professional tears on their way there and are stopping off in the IFL. A tryout cant hurt, but if you want into a bigger promotion my advice would be to have your manager/coach talk to guys who run shows like KOTC, the fights in Ohio (forget name of promotion), or extreme challenge. Those shows tend to be the stairs that lead to the WEC, IFL or if you get on a hot streak bigger shows yet. The thing with a tryout, the guys with fewer pro fights who get chosen are going to be tough D-1 wrestlers, BJJ competition Brown and Black belts, etc. Guys who require less development in one area or two in other words. If you are that level of grappler, no problem, but if not a tryout isnt always the best way to move on to bigger and better things. This is all just my opinion. I hear there is a place you guys used to go where people teach you how to fight and stuff. That would be a good first step to WWE or quitting your job and being a cool fighter, you need some juice for option 1, and a new haircut and more tats for option 2. IF you were to ever come in at night you might see him. Then get his # so you would know exactly when he is in or not, since his Job does cause some schedule fluctuation.
