I have to ask this, what in the hell are you doing randomly recruiting guys to fight in a MMA event in less than two weeks for? So guys just "join" your team without training with you or you knowing anything about them?

Seems fishy/crooked/dirty to me. Feel free to explain further to remove my misgivings if you like.

First off, I apologize in taking so long to reply, but I have been very busy training. SSecondly, there is nothing fishy or crooked about my ad. I just need to gather some guys for a team. I was already scheduled to fight and several of my fighters had to back out and I needed replacements. Thats all. You can verify my if you like. I'm the real deal. Just ask Troy O'connor from MEKA.

Yes, I am a real Shidoshi. Why, do you have a problem with that? I studied several years in Japan while I was in the military. Just because I am a Shidoshi does not mean ttat I go to kumites. 1st off, you need to be invited to a kumite. 2nd, a shidoshi and a kumite does not necessarily go hand in hand. You can be a Shidoshi and not fight in kumites and you can fight in kumites and not be a Shidoshi. What else would you like to know????

You must have a differnt requirement regarding training time and work up than I do if you can fish for guys to jsut load up and fight MMA for someone they dont know, and more important for someone who doesnt know them.

I say this because I know some promoters and promoter's sponsors will often shell out travel and per diem money for trainers bringing fighters to an event. Sometimes the money never gets past the trainer, and the only reason I would think a trainer would look for fighters he doesnt know and has no vested interest in them is a "pay by the pound" sort of deal to get a couple kids jazzed up about fighting take them somewhere they get their asses whipped and pocket money the promoter may have provided.

I am not saying you did that or that was your intent. But I am saying if a trainer suddenly wants fighters on short notice and has no personal or professional interest in them, it looks mighty fishy to me.

I understand where you are coming from. However, I needed to recruit two fighters for an ammateur team competition that was put on by Champions Family Fitness/ M.E.K.A out in Portland, OR. Being that it was not pro, the fighters didn't get paid. They only get their name out there and a dvd copy of the fight night.
