NO offense, but if you are self trained, you dont have any idea what you are yet. You may WANT to be a striker, but without competent instruction, it isnt so as yet. Where are you out of. "eastern NC" is a BIG area to cover, and there are ZERO mma events anywhere in NC, at least zero legal ones.

My advice is if you are looking to compete is to find a competent trainer with a team and good track record. This will make the first couple of fights alot less painful so far as growing pains go.

I agree with Brandon. You might be the next great thing. Get with a reputable trainer. Get some gym time in and some training with other expirenced fighters and then decide.

I know we get a guy a week who "thinks" he is a natural fighter. Then after they get some training with expirenced guys are more realistic and realise what it takes to become teh fighter they want to be.
