[ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 10:49:17 09/07/06 Thu It's a bit late but due to a recently extended extension of HWY 98, below are some directions to hopefully help with getting to the venue easier. Destination: 1127 Chalk Rd., Wake Forest, NC 27587-2439 US Use the link from the tournament page (http://www.bjjnc.com/wst_page8.php) for general directions to enter Wake Forest via US 1. From US 1 there is a new extension for HWY. 98. Heading north you will pass several car dealerships and a golden corral. At approximately 1 mile (past the Golden Corral) you will take the exit for HWY 98 E. towards Wake Forest. Once on HWY 98 (going East) you’ll go to the second intersection/stop light (approximately 2 ½ to 3 miles) and turn right onto Jones Dairy Rd. Go 0.6 miles and turn right onto Chalk Rd. for 0.3 miles. The tournament will be located on your left inside the Franklin Academy. or Going south you will see a Home Depot on your right and a Lowes Home Improvement on your left. Take the exit for HWY 98 E. towards Bunn. Once on HWY 98 (going East) you’ll go to the second intersection/stop light (approximately 2 ½ to 3 miles) and turn right onto Jones Dairy Rd. Go 0.6 miles and turn right onto Chalk Rd. for 0.3 miles. The tournament will be located on your left inside the Franklin Academy. Note: When using map direction sites (i.e. Mapquest, Yahoo Maps, etc.) they will not show that the new Hwy 98 Bypass as being completed at the US 1 intersection.
