Oh brother! What a crock this has turned out to be. Leave it to those guys in Raliegh to stir the pot. Could it be a bit of jealousy perhaps?

Luis is virtually unknown to everyone who is not in his training circle. It has been that way for years. Carlos Lemos stated in an interview that no other black belt had bothered to come to NC before he came. HA! Luis has been around for a while now. It is funny to me how all of these people feel they have to insult a man's credentials.

As far as a money issue, I can see where that comes from. But, by saying that Jacare or Carlson Jr. endorsed Luis simply because of the cash is the same as saying that they aren't reputable instructors. Anyone who is anyone would not want a con artist to go around making a bad name for them. You see my point?

Luis has been doing very well for himself in the Charlotte area. His SC connections are also very pleased with his work. One thing that I can't get over is how the Raliegh guys are always so quick to jump on Luis's back. I will agree that Triangle BJJ had some great guys there. But let's be honest. All the hype about a certain "journalist" leader of the club is not all that it is cracked up to be. He always seems to drop the dime that he has high ranking friends in the BJJ community. When this journalist himself is nothing more than a wanna be. He sure does talk a good game though.

It seems to me that there is a LOT of jealousy floating around the North Carolina BJJ circles. And I believe that a large portion of it comes directly from Raliegh. If you are guilty of this, you know who you are. If not, then don't sweat it.

I think that Jacare and CG Jr. would be happy to know that you guys think no more of them than that they endorse a fraud. All of you guys should get together and write them a letter letting them know how you really feel. I bet they would appreciate it to know what type of BJJ people that reside in this state.

Relson Gracie? Well then, if he has never heard of Hodas then he must not exist. Give me a fucking break! Relson comes from the Gracie family so he is knowledgable about all things in BJJ? Really? Okay then, what about what happened between him and the Inoue brothers in Hawaii? Relson can get on his high horse at times just like the other Gracies. Let's just leave that subject alone.

As far as training goes, I have taken seminars from some great instructors like Paulson, Rickson, Sauer, Carlson Jr, and others. The instruction I got from one of Luis' seminars was everybit as helpful as theirs. I am a lifelong white belt in BJJ if you happen to wonder. But don't let the rank fool you. Belts are only the fancy decorations of a man's true skills, in my opinion.

Armtriangle, I have not got into this and am not. yes, I am a wanna be, so is everyone else. I wanna be better than I am right now. Do I have a lot of good high ranking bjj friends, yes. They never lied to me when they said they would be there for a seminar. They gave me fight tapes when I asked to see them. They never left me sitting in a restaurant for two hours lieing and saying they were on their way. They actually compete in ADCC, the worlds and Pan Ams against real opponents and win. As for Luis I wish him the best of luck in all his endeavours. I am happy with my life, I hope you and Luis are too Arm Triangle.By the way I am not training at Triangle BJJ nor am I there ring leader.
