I am just wondering is this a way that the Federation is using to keep a sense of Brazil in The us, BJJ is slowely being replaced with AJJ. Many Americans now have their belts and Blackbelts, Grapppler's quest and NAGA are replacing the PAN AMS as the top Tournments. BJJ.org recognizes peoples belts from instructors and so does the MAT when your on the mat, you know who is a _____belt and who is not.

The federation that I was appointed to is under Carlinhos I have heard today people have already called him trying to offer him many things but it is a no go for them.

But all belts will have to be signed by thier Black Belts and it has to be tracable by Carlinhos who is the President in Brazil and has full knowledge of who is who. They will not, nor will thier students get a Card signed by him in the new computerized way to trace the belts unless thier Black Belt instuctor is tracable and recognizes them.

Period. So it will reduce this as this Federation grows.

I agree with tapuout247. BJJ is becoming AJJ real fast. The brazilians, don't have as much control as they use too, and it hurts there pockets. Grapplers Quest, and NAGA and other events like those are the future of grappling in the USA. Certain GQ and Naga events have had twice as many people there competing as did the Pan Ams here in the USA. Just a way for Brazilians to try and take some sort of control back to tournaments in America. Don't get me wrong, i like Brazilians and have alot of Brazilian friends, but we all know how they like money. Hell i like money too, who doesn't.

Trying to start a federation in NC is a waste of time in my opinion. Too many politics. No one has ever really supported Togno's federation, except for a few schools, it will be the same way with the new federation.

Joe, i may have missed this in a earlier post not sure, but what are the cost gonna be for all these things, cards? getting your school recognized as part of the federation's legit schools? cost of partipating in these federation events, do you have to sign up to become a member of the federation like you do in brazil for a additional cost, on top of the tournament registration fee's?

Just curious, or is it gonna be free for these things, if so great.

Just my opinion.

If no one joins it don't matter.

It is not to say other tourneys aren't good they are the best. It is SIMPLY saying if you do BJJ and claim to do so your rank will be recognized and legit.

All will be talked about at the Oct 1st event, if your not coming there will be a web site, a waste of time if there is no interest in joining.

Each and every state will have a rep. and all will cordinate to help each other states events that are a part.

It will only help the events and sport, If one does not do BJJ it will not apply to them.

I agree that what Brian of Grapplers Quest is doing is huge that is why the Budweiser is RATED and he will be coming personally. We are proud to have him apart.

We are also Ranked, by Kipp.

It is just strictly for BJJ the Federation.
