We're adding a boxing ring to our new facility, but my insurance company is giving me hell. We won't be holding events or anything--it's just a training tool for those so inclined.

Can anyone recommend an insurance company? Thanks.

Would be curious to get some feedback on good insurance companies to go with to cover martial arts schools. Also, what is an average cost?

Signing up with the AAU will provide coverage for students and the school/club.

Amateur Athletic Union

You just have to identify and sign up for whatever sport you are participating in. As far as combative sports, they offer Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling, Tae Kwon Do, and Chinese Martial Arts. A club level sign up of karate and Jiu jitsu should cover about everything pertaining to MMA type training.
