I now have my vehicle although automodena had not paid the full amount leaving me £2,600 to settle with the dealer and around the same to pay in VAT. I am also in possession of the order which has no reference to automodena and only has my name, address, and order details.I handed over £17550 to automodena and I am now £6000 out of pocket. The dealer was very helpful and shocked at how aautomodena had operated. I traced the dealer through the chasis number which was given to me on payment of the balance. I now know my deposite was not paid until more than 3 months after I forwarded it and the remainder (although short) was not paid until 6 weeks after forwarding. I managed to get B. Hallats e-mail address after phoning Louise around 50 times and kept the pressure on. I don't think I would have got this far if it wasn't for that. Any-one any ideas whether the liquidators have legal grounds to give me a hard time? As far as I'm concerned the car is registered in my name and they still owe me £6000.
