There were statements from the directors and liquidators and a preliminary assessment of the co.'s affairs, copies of all of which you should be able to get from the liquidator together with the minutes of the meeting. Five creditors have joined a liquidation committee with the liquidator which, among other thingas, will investigate the possibility of pursuing civil action against the directors. Of immediate interest to you will be the fact that although the directors insisted they were not acting as brokers/agents, several customers had contracts that stated they were. You should get legal advice - you may find you have a claim on any monies paid to the dealer. BDO Stoy Hayward will give you info on the dealer if you contact them.
