He was quiet for a long moment as he lay with her, taking her hand into his between them, laying his other against her stomach and his chin against her shoulder. As his breathing slowly became normal again, he lifted his hand to her cheek, turning her to him and gathering her close to him, just holding her. He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead and sighed.
