At Anchanti's question legolas pauses, he had expected the question it was true but he had no real answer to give. Turning his head as Athailia's words reached his ears he smiles slightly noding motioning with his hand for Infindel to join them if she wished.
"Haniora was a Childhood friend of Athailia and I."
falling silent Legolas takes one of his braids in his hands and carefully untis it before brushing the hair straight and beginning to plait it once more continuing his words softer.
"Haniora and I were courting each other for about 1350 years, then she went to Lothlorien to stay with the Lady galadriel, and Athailia who was also there at the time. She returned the day I left for Rivendell with Athailia and It was as if nothing had change. It was she that held my thoughts through out the jouirney to Rivendell and I expected it would remain the same when I returned to Mirkwood. Yet it was not"
his voice tensing Legolas stops speaking, his gaze dropping to the hair that hung, once more braided in his hand.
"It could never be the same again and so I left Mirkwood for the last time. Athailia accompanied me and so it was that we travelled together until we first met Infindel and later Kiriani"
knowing his words may have seemed rushed, and probably suggested that he missed out a lot of the details he sighs slightly glasncing up at those around him.
